AVN Indukantam Kashayam

Indukantham kashayam is a decoction of herbs. Also available in tablet and ghee forms.

Its usage:

1.It is beneficial in fever.

2.It relieves abdominal bloating, gaseous distention.

3.It relieves abdominal pain, improves digestion.

4.It improves strength and immunity.

Roga karma: Vishamajwara, vataroga, gulma, shoola and shwasa.

Dosha karma: Vatakaphahara and vatanulomaka.

Agni karma: Deepana

Dosage:

5 10 ml, before food, or on empty stomach, once or twice a day or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

Putika Holoptelea integrifolia

Daru Cedrus deodara

Dashamoola group of ten herbs

Bilva Aegle marmelos

Agnimantha Premna mucronata

Shyonaka Oroxylum indicum

Patala Stereospermum suaveolens

Gambhari Gmelina arborea

Brihati Solanum indicum

Kantakari Solanum xanthocarpum

Gokshura Tribulus terrestris

Shalaparni Desmodium gangeticum

Prishnaparni Uraria picta

Pippali fruit and root- Long pepper Piper longum

Chavya Piper chaba Hunter / brachystachyum

Chitraka Plumbago zeylanica

Nagara Ginger Zingiber officinalis

Yavakshara Kshara of Hordeum vulgare

Method of preparation of Indukantham Kashayam: Herbal ingredients (coarse powder) 1 part boiled in 16 parts of water and reduced to 4 part.
